Videocon launches Made in India smartphone, Z55 Dash for Rs 6,490

Videocon Mobile announced the launch of Z55 Dash, a smartphone that is indigenously designed and assembled in India.

Videocon Mobile announced the launch of Z55 Dash, a smartphone that the company claims is indigenously designed and assembled in India. The smartphone has MRP of Rs 8,499 but is exclusively available on Flipkart at a reduced price of Rs 6,490.

Videocon Z55 Dash features a 5-Inch IPS display with Dragontrail X Glass and anti fingerprint coating. It is powered by a 1.4 GHz Cortex A7 octa-core processor and 1 RAM. The smartphone runs on 4.4.2 KitKat operating system.

Videocon Z55 Dash offers an 8 auto focus rear camera and a 5 megapixel front camera. On the storage front, the phone offers 8 GB of internal storage which is further expandable to up to 32 GB via a micro SD card. It has a 2200 battery.

Connectivity options include 3G,dual SIM, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, 4.0, micro USB 2.0 port and /A-GPS for navigation.

Videocon is also offering a 90 days free subscription of V-Secure antivirus software and GPS-powered personal safety app, V-Safe with the smartphone.
