Sensation XE was the first smartphone to benefit from the HTC and Beats Audio tie up, which means you get an awesome music experience on it. Besides, Sensation XE has a minor cosmetic upgrade as well in the form of Beats inspired red accents around the phone.

HTC Sensation XE runs on Android v2.3.4 (Gingerbread) and has a 1.5 GHz dual core coupled with 768 of RAM. The phone is expected to get Android 4.0 soon.

If you want a tough phone that can withstand water, heat, scratches and dust that devices have to endure in the Indian environment, Motorola Defy Plus is the device you should be looking at.

Defy Plus operates on Android 2.3 Gingerbread and comes with a single core 1 GHz Texas Instruments OMAP 3620 processor with 2 GB on-board storage.

Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc S LT18i is a sleek touchscreen phone with Android Gingerbread OS, which is expected to be upgraded to Android 4.0 shortly.

The phone was launched late last year but still holds well thanks to brilliant specifications. It has a 4.2 inch Reality display with a Mobile Bravia engine. HTC Desire C (Rs 13,550)

This is one of the latest handsets in this list and benefits from features like Beats Audio, Android 4.0 operating system and the HTC brand name.

The new HTC Desire C has a 3.5 inch touchscreen display and is powered by a 600 Qualcomm Snapdragon mobile processor. Running the new Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich with Sense 4.0 User Interface, Desire C was made available last month for Rs 14,999 but now costs Rs 13,550 through eBay.in.

Flaunting a metallic frame HTC Desire C measures 12.5 mm and weighs a mere 100 grams. Appearing as a stubby version of the current HTC One S or One X, it has 480 x 320 pixel resolution support..
