Three Xiaomi smartphones get a price cut for a limited period

All the smartphones will retail at the discounted price only from February 26 - 28 at Flipkart, Amazon India and Xiaomi e-store.

Xiaomi has today announced a price cut for its Redmi Note 6 Pro, Redmi Note 5 Pro, and Redmi Y2 smartphones for a limited period. All the smartphones will retail at the discounted price only from February 26 – 28 at Flipkart, Amazon India and Xiaomi e-store.

The company has announced the price cut on its official Twitter handle and said, “Your favourite Xiaomi phones are on discounts in Month-End Mobile Fest sale only on@Flipkart.”

The Redmi Note 6 Pro variant with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage has received at a price cut of Rs 2,000 and it will be available at Rs 11,999 as against its original price of Rs 13,999. The higher variant with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage will be available at Rs 13,999, down from its launch price of Rs 15,999. However, it is to be noted that the Rs 2,000 discount is only available on Mi.com and Flipkart. Amazon India does not sell the Redmi Note 6 Pro smartphone.

The Redmi Note 5 Pro 4GB RAM with 64GB storage will be available at Rs 10,999 as against its original launch price of Rs 12,999. The 6GB RAM with 64GB storage variant will be priced at Rs 11,999, down from Rs 13,999. The Rs 2,000 discount on Redmi Note 5 Pro is live on all three websites.

After the price cut, the Xiaomi Redmi Y2 is now available for a starting price of Rs 7,999 for the 3GB RAM + 32GB storage variant of the phone while the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage variant of the Redmi Y2 will now retail for Rs 9,999. Redmi Y2 at the new discounted price is now available for purchase on Amazon.in, Flipkart and Mi.com.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro features a 6.26-inch Full HD+ IPS LCD display with a 2280 x 1080 pixels resolution. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 1.8GHz octa-core processor with Adreno 509 GPU coupled with 4GB/6GB RAM, 64GB internal storage. The Redmi Note 6 Pro runs 8.1 Oreo-based MIUI 10 and the phone is fueled by a 4,000mAh battery with Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 3.0 support. It comes with four cameras – two rear and two front. The dual rear comes with a combination of 12-megapixel primary sensor and a 5-megapixel secondary sensor while the dual front cameras include a primary 20-megapixel camera and a secondary 2-megapixel depth sensor.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro features a 5.99-inch Full HD+ display with a screen resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels, Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 processor. It has a 4000mah battery and it runs on MIUI 9.5 based Android 8.1 Oreo. On the camera front, there are two cameras of 12MP and 5MP. The phone has a 20MP front camera.

Xiaomi Redmi Y2 has a 5.99-inch HD+ display with 1440 x 720 pixels resolution and an aspect ratio of 18:9. On the camera front, the Redmi Y2 has a 12-megapixel primary camera with PDAF, LED Flash and 5-megapixel secondary camera for portrait shots. For the front, the device has a 16-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies. It is powered with a 2GHz Snapdragon 625 octa-core processor with Adreno 506 GPU, the smartphone comes with 3GB/4GB of RAM and 32GB/64GB of internal storage. It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo operating system and it has 3,080 battery.
