Spice has made available another low cost Android smartphone, called Spice Stellar Nhance 2 Mi-437, in India for Rs 5,899. Though the phone is listed on Saholic, the retailer is promising delivery after October 16.
The dual SIM smartphone comes with a 4 inch touchscreen with WVGA (800×480 pixels) resolution. It runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system, 1.2 GHz dual core processor, and 512 MB RAM. Spice Stellar Nhance 2 Mi-437 has 4 GB of internal storage along with 32 GB micro SD card slot. The 3G smartphone has WiFi, Bluetooth, and GPS as well.
The Spice Stellar Nhance 2 Mi-437 has a 1400 mAh Li-Ion battery but Spice has not revealed its talktime or standby. The smartphone has a 3 megapixel rear camera, assisted by an LED flash, and a 1.3 megapixel front camera.
Spice is regularly churning out handsets in a bid to gain market share in the fiercely contested Indian handset market. Just few days back, it has also made available the Spice Pinnacle Stylus for Rs 15,499. With Diwali season starting, Spice is expected to launch a range of smartphones in various price brackets as well.
