Spice today announced the launch of a new octa-core version of its Stellar 526 smartphone – 526n Octa. The new Spice Stellar 526n Octa is equipped with a 1.4 GHz octa-core Processor and a 5 inch HD IPS On-Cell display. The phone comes with a metallic finish and is said to be exclusively designed by a London based design house.
Commenting on the launch, Prashant Bindal, chief executive officer, Spice Mobility said, “Following up on the excellent response to our Stellar 526 smartphone, we decided to introduce a faster octa-core version of the phone with excellent specifications for technology enthusiasts seeking a combination of cutting EDGE technology and style”.
The Stellar 526n Octa is equipped with an 8 mega-pixel rear Autofocus camera and a front-facing 3.2 MP camera. It has Mali GPU and a 2500 mAh battery that claims to offer Standby time of about 280 hours.
The Spice Stellar 526n Octa is equipped with 8 GB ROM (expandable upto 32 GB through a micro SD card), 1 GB RAM and available in White and Pebble Blue colours. Besides, this Android 4.4 KitKat based smartphone offers GPS, WiFi and 3G connectivity. The Spice Stellar 526n Octa has a price tag of Rs 7,999 and comes with a free flip cover.
