Samsung to unveil Galaxy C series smartphones on May 26

Samsung Galaxy C5 is expected to cost CNY 1,599 (approximately Rs 16,400) while the Galaxy C7 any be priced at CNY 1,799 (approximately Rs 18,500).

After so many leaks and rumors, Samsung is all set to unveil the Galaxy C-series smartphones at an event in China. Samsung has sent out invites for the launch of Galaxy C series smartphones i.e Galaxy C5 and Galaxy C7 on May 26th to various media organizations.

As per ealier rumors, the Galaxy C5 will cost CNY 1,599 (approximately Rs 16,400) while the Galaxy C7 will be priced at CNY 1,799 (approximately Rs 18,500). Also the devices are said to be available in Silver, Gold, Pink and Gray colour variants.
Galaxy C-series smartphones
The specifications of both the devices are almost same except the screen size and battery. The Samsung Galaxy C5 is said to come with a 5.2 inch display while Galaxy C7 expected to feature a bigger 5.7 inch display with the same full (1920 x 1080) resolution. Both of these smartphones are said to come with metal unibody of 6-7mm thickness. Both the smartphones are said to have Samsung’s Ultra High Quality Audio (UHQA).
Galaxy C-series smartphones
Reportedly, both the Samsung Galaxy C5 and Samsung Galaxy C7 will be powered by Snapdragon 617 64-bit octa-core processor. They will have 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. Both are expected to have a 16-megapixel camera and an flash in its rear panel and 8-megapixel selfie camera. Galaxy C5 is backed up by 2600 battery, Galaxy C7 will have 3300mAh battery, the report added.

Recently, the images of C5 was published online. Samsung Galaxy C5 (SM-C5000) was also found listed on GeekBench and GFXBench websites. The device even surfaced on the Indian import-export website Zauba as per which it has a price tag of $205 (approximately Rs 13,625). Similarly, Galaxy C7 was also found listed on GFXBencmarking website and on AnTuTu also.
