Samsung Galaxy Note 8 rumours have been doing rounds on the internet off lately and the latest leaked render confirms dual-camera setup at the back along with some key design changes. This sounds credible, seeing how a dual camera set up has become an essential for almost all mid and high end phones now.
According to the leaked image posted on Weibo, the smartphone is shown in different angles which reveals some key design aesthetics of the device. The front shows a large screen with a better screen-to-body ratio as compared to the Samsung Galaxy S8+. The post further reveals that it will come loaded with a 6.3-inch screen, which could be either Quad HD or of 4K resolution. Further, the back of the device shows dual-camera setup, which is positioned at the top centre of the smartphone.
There is also a fingerprint sensor just beneath the dual rear cameras, which was missing in previous leaks. The right will house a power on/off button, while at the left, there will be volume controls and Bixby buttons.
Recollecting some previous rumours, the phone is reported to be set for a launch by August 26. It will be powered by Qualcomm’s top-of-the-line Snapdragon 835 Processor and there might be an Exynos variant as well. The device is also reported to sport 6GB of RAM and a massive 256GB of internal storage. On the camera front, it is reported that Galaxy Note 8 will sport dual-camera setup, with a combination of 12MP and 13MP cameras.
Meanwhile, Ming-Chi Kuo, an analyst at KGI Securities, claims that the device will have a 12-megapixel Wide-Angle CIS (CMOS image sensors) supporting dual photodiode to absorb more light for better low-light shots and a 13-megapixel telephoto CIS with dual 6P technology and supporting 3X zoom. Both the Sensors support Optical Image Stabilisation as well. The phone will likely sport a 3600mAh battery with fast and wireless charging. It will run on the latest Android 7.1.2 Nougat.
