Samsung has officially announced two new phones in the Galaxy J series – Galaxy J6+ and Galaxy J4+. There is no info on the price of both phones though. Both the phones are expected to be launched in India on September 25 and will be available on Amazon India. The Samsung Galaxy J6+ comes in Gray, Black and Red colours while the Galaxy J4+ comes in Black, Gold and Pink colour options.
Samsung Galaxy J6+
The Samsung Galaxy J6+ features a 6-inch (1480 x 720 pixels) HD+ Infinity 2.5D curved glass display. It is powered by 1.4GHz Quad-Core Snapdragon 425 Processor with Adreno 308 GPU. The smartphone comes in two variants – 3GB RAM with 32GB storage and 4GB RAM with 64GB storage. Both the variants are expandable up to 256GB with microSD.
The smartphone is backed up by 3300mAh battery and it runs on Android 8.1 (Oreo) operating system. For the camera, the Galaxy J6+ comes equipped with a dual rear camera of 13-megapixel primary sensor with LED flash, f/1.9 Aperture and secondary sensor of 5-megapixel with f/2.2 aperture. It has an 8-megapixel front-facing camera with LED flash and f/1.9 aperture.
The connectivity features of the smartphone include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n (2.4GHz), Bluetooth 4.2 LE, GPS, 3.5mm audio jack, FM Radio. NFC availability is dependent on country. Sensors onboard include Accelerometer, side Fingerprint Sensor, Gyro Sensor, Geomagnetic Sensor, Hall Sensor(NA), Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor. It measures 161.4 x 76.9 x 7.9 mm and weighs 178 grams.
Samsung Galaxy J4+
The Galaxy J4+ has the same display and Resolution as the Galaxy J6+. It is also powered by has the same 1.4GHz quad-core Snapdragon 425 processor. It comes in 2GB RAM with 16GB storage and 3GB RAM with 32GB variants with expandable memory up to 256GB with microSD.
The smartphone has a single 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and f/1.9 aperture. For the front, it has a 5-megapixel camera with f/2.2 aperture, LED flash. It also has a 3300mAh battery and runs Android 8.1 Oreo. Connectivity features are the same as Samsung Galaxy J6+. The dimensions are 161.4 x 76.7 x 7.9 mm and it weighs 178 grams.
