As per the latest leaks, the earlier rumoured Galaxy J3 (2017) is now tipped to come with the name J3 Emerge (2017) at least in the United States. According to the famous tipster Evan Blass (@eveleaks), the smartphone will be launched as Samsung Galaxy J3 Emerge on January 6 2017. Based on the past reputation of Evan Blass, there is a high degree of possibility of this rumour coming out to be true. Further, there has been no information regarding the global launch as of now.
Taking his twitter handle to inform, @evleaks, Evan tweeted, “Samsung Galaxy J3 Emerge is coming on January 6 to Sprint, Boost, and Virgin Mobile -https://wp.me/p5hvhT-8XhE ” along with an image of the smartphone. It means that the Galaxy J3 Emerge will be available via Sprint (including Boost and Virgin Mobile) in the US.
The smartphone was already been leaked in press images some time back and has also been spotted on the benchmarking website GFXBench, the Indian export import portal, Zauba and on GeekBench website.
As far as the specs are concerned, the Samsung Galaxy J3 Emerge will come with a 5 inch HD display with 720 x 1280 pixel resolution. It will be powered by a 1.5 GHz Octa Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor coupled with 2 GB RAM. The Galaxy J3 Emerge has a 5 megapixel rear camera and a 2 megapixel front camera for photography. Besides, running on Android 6.0 Marshmallow, the Galaxy J3 Emerge comes with 16 GB of internal storage and a 2600 mAh battery. For connectivity, the device comes with 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS and Micro-USB port.
