Samsung Galaxy J3 (2017) with Snapdragon 425 SoC announced

The Samsung Galaxy J3 (2017) has now gone official in the Unites Sates. The smartphone is now available from AT&T mobile operator online and in select stores, at $179.99 (approx. Rs 11,545). A variant of the Samsung J3 (2017) smartphone which is dubbed J3 Emerge has already been launched by Sprint earlier this year.

The Samsung Galaxy J3 (2017) comes with a 5-inch HD display with 720 x 1280 pixel resolution. It is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor coupled with 1.5 GB RAM. The Galaxy J3 (2017) has a 5-megapixel rear camera with f/1.9 aperture and 1080p video recording and a 2-megapixel front camera with a f/2.2 aperture for photography.

Besides, running on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system, the Galaxy J3 (2017) comes with 16 GB of internal storage with expandable memory of 256GB via microSD card and a removable 2600 mAh battery. For connectivity, the device comes with 4G LTE, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS and Micro-USB port. The smartphone has Gyro, Accelerometer, Magnetic and Proximity sensors. The handset measures 140.9 x 70.1 x 8.7 mm and weighs 147 grams.
