Samsung Galaxy J3 (2017) with Snapdragon 425 SoC announced

The Samsung Galaxy J3 (2017) has now gone official in the Unites Sates. The smartphone is now available from AT&T mobile operator online and in select stores, at $179.99 (approx. Rs 11,545). A variant of the Samsung J3 (2017) smartphone which is dubbed J3 Emerge has already been launched by Sprint earlier this year.

The Samsung Galaxy J3 (2017) comes with a 5-inch display with 720 x 1280 pixel resolution. It is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor coupled with 1.5 GB RAM. The Galaxy J3 (2017) has a 5-megapixel rear camera with f/1.9 and 1080p video recording and a 2-megapixel front camera with a f/2.2 aperture for photography.

Besides, running on 6.0 Marshmallow operating system, the Galaxy J3 (2017) comes with 16 GB of internal storage with expandable memory of 256GB via microSD card and a removable 2600 mAh battery. For connectivity, the device comes with LTE, WiFi, Bluetooth, and Micro-USB port. The smartphone has Gyro, Accelerometer, Magnetic and Proximity sensors. The handset measures 140.9 x 70.1 x 8.7 mm and weighs 147 grams.
