Samsung has recently posted a new advertisement that mercilessly mocks Apple’s last 10 years and the latest iPhone X. The new ad has been posted on Samsung’s official YouTube channel.
The video titled, “Samsung Galaxy: Growing Up”, shows a story of a man who has been a loyal customer of the iPhone since 2007, while his friend used Samsung products for the same time period. The video basically mocks the whole iPhone journey and shows how Samsung devices, especially, the Note series has been superior to the iPhones in terms of technologies and features.
At the end, the video shows the man giving up on iPhone and opting for the latest Galaxy Note 8 on the eve of iPhone X launch. The video highlights Samsung’s EDGE over Apple in terms of latest technologies like water resistance, no support for stylus and wireless charging. Bonus, it also shows the time wasted on long queues for opting the newest iPhone models. Samsung wittingly mocked the latest iPhone X as well. The minute-long video shows a man who has got a haircut similar to the iPhone X notch as the main character passes by him.
This is not the first time Samsung has made fun of Apple in a creative way. Samsung in the past has posted several videos mocking Apple’s iPhones. However, Google also roasted Apple for eliminating the Headphone jack, though it followed the same thing in this year’s Pixel devices.
