Round up: Smartphones, tabs launched this week

This week Xolo launched two new phones while Datawind made a comeback with three cheap handsets.

Xolo Q1001 – Rs 6,199

The Xolo Q1001 has a 5 inch IPS display with a resolution of 480 x 854 pixels. The phone runs on KitKat and has a 1.3 GHz quad-core processing unit which runs with 512 MB of RAM. The internal memory stands at 4 GB, to which another 32 GB can be added via a microSD card.

The primary camera of the Xolo Q1001 is a 5 megapixel unit with scene detection, HDR, smile recognition, face beautification, geo-tagging, panorama, flash, and video recording at 1080p.
