Oppo Reno A with dual rear cameras reportedly in works, specs and render leaked

The Oppo Reno A will have two variants, 6GB RAM with 64GB and 6GB RAM with 128GB storage

Oppo is all set to unleash its Reno 2 series in India on August 28th. However, it seems that the brand is working on one more Reno smartphone, which will be dubbed as Oppo Reno A. The smartphone is expected to launch in India in coming days.

Tipster, Ishan Agarwal, in collaboration with Mysmartprice website, has shared key specifications and render image of upcoming Oppo Reno A smartphone. As per the image, the smartphone will have a waterdrop notch design and dual camera module is placed horizontally along with LED flash. Further, one can see the power button on the right-hand side and volume rockers on the left.

As per the website, the Oppo Reno A will have two variants, 6GB RAM with 64GB and 6GB RAM with 128GB storage. It will feature a 6.5-inch Full-HD+ AMOLED display. The smartphone would have a biometric in-display fingerprint sensor and will have waterdrop notch design.

The smartphone is expected to come equipped with Snapdragon 710 chipset and will be juiced up by a 3600 mAh battery. On the camera front, it will have a dual rear camera setup with a 16 MP primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture and a 2 MP depth sensor. On the front, it will sport a 25 MP selfie shooter with f/2.4 aperture. The dimensions would be 158.4×75.4×7.8mm and it will weigh around 169 grams. The Reno A smartphone will be available in two different colour options, Blue and Black. Looking at the expected specification of the upcoming Reno A, one could expect it to be under the mid-range segment.

As of now, there is no information on the exact launch date of this upcoming smartphone. However, it is expected to be official soon. Moreover, Oppo is expected to release a total of six smartphones before Diwali.
