Chinese handset maker, Oppo Mobile has announced the launch of Oppo Joy in India at Rs 8,990. The new Oppo Joy features a 4-inch display and is powered by a dual-core MediaTek chipset. Oppo has implemented the Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean layered under the ColorOS user interface.
Oppo Joy offers a 4-inch touchscreen with a 480×800 pixel Resolution and a dual-core 1.3 GHz MediaTek mobile Chipset powers it. Oppo has coupled 512 MB RAM and 4 GB on-board storage on the Joy. There is a memory card slot to expand the storage.
At the rear, it has a 3 megapixel camera while a VGA camera is in the front for video calls. The Oppo Joy offers capability to accommodate two SIM cards in the Dual-SIM configuration. Besides, it has WiFi, Bluetooth, and a 1700 mAh battery.
The Oppo Joy is vetted to compete with existing devices such as Nokia X and Sony Xperia E1 Dual.
