Oppo Joy launched at Rs 8,990 in India

Oppo Joy has a 4-inch display and is powered by a dual-core 1.3 Ghz MediaTek mobile chipset and runs Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean.

Chinese handset maker, Oppo Mobile has announced the launch of Oppo Joy in India at Rs 8,990. The new Oppo Joy features a 4-inch display and is powered by a dual-core MediaTek chipset. Oppo has implemented the 4.2.2 Jelly Bean layered under the ColorOS user interface.

Oppo Joy offers a 4-inch touchscreen with a 480×800 pixel and a dual-core 1.3 GHz MediaTek mobile powers it. Oppo has coupled 512 MB RAM and 4 GB on-board storage on the Joy. There is a memory card slot to expand the storage.

At the rear, it has a 3 megapixel camera while a VGA camera is in the front for video calls. The Oppo Joy offers capability to accommodate two SIM cards in the configuration. Besides, it has WiFi, Bluetooth, and a 1700 battery.

The Oppo Joy is vetted to compete with existing devices such as Nokia X and Sony Xperia E1 Dual.
