Oppo Find X2 with Snapdragon 865 SoC to launch in Q1 of 2020

Oppo Find X2 smartphone will be powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC.

Oppo is looking to bring back its Find series with the launch of Oppo Find X2. The smartphone is reported to launch in Q1 of 2020.

As per a report by XDA Developers, the company is planning to launch the successor of the Oppo Find X in Q1 of 2020. The report further highlights that the upcoming smartphone will be powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC.

The report says that the company has collaborated with Sony to create a larger sensor size for better light sensitivity. The upcoming might use Sony’s 2×2 on-chip lens solution, which brings ‘All Omni-direction PDAF’ technology. The new technology improves the overall focus performance and enables high-speed auto-focus using phase differences.

Furthermore, the report also highlights that the upcoming smartphone will come with better display resolution, refresh rate, colours and dynamic range as compared to its competitors. However, till is known about the specifications, pricing and availability of the new Oppo Find X2.

To recall, Oppo introduced Oppo Find X in December 2018. Oppo Find X comes with a 6.42-inches AMOLED Full display with 2340 x 1080 resolution and aspect ratio of 19.5:9. It is powered by 2.5GHz Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor with Adreno 630 coupled with 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. The smartphone features a 3,730 mAh battery with VOOC flash charge promising 2 hours of with 5 minutes of charge.

For the camera department, the device sports a dual rear camera setup with 16-megapixel primary sensor with LED flash, f/2.0 aperture, Optical Image Stabilization, Phase Detection Autofocus, Dual-Tone LED flash and 20-megapixel secondary sensor with f/2.2 aperture. For the front, it features a 25-megapixel front camera with f/2.0 for selfies and video calling.
