Oppo A1K leaked with Helio P22 and 4,000 mAh battery

A1K would be the first Oppo smartphone to feature a Helio P22 chip.

Oppo launched Oppo A1 last year in China for 1,399 Yuan which is approx. Rs 14,400. Now, Chinese smartphone manufacturer is working on a slightly modified version which will be called the A1K. The specifications of Oppo A1K have now surfaced online.

As per a report of MySmartPrice, the smartphone will soon go official with the MediaTek Helio P22 chipset coupled with 2GB of RAM. Notably, OPPO has not launched any smartphone powered by the Helio P22 chipset so far. This means the A1K would be the first Oppo smartphone to feature a Helio P22 chip. The Oppo A1K will run on the ColorOS 6 which is based on the Pie and will get 32GB of storage on the smartphone.

The report further reveals that the A1K will come in two colour variants – Red and Black. The smartphone will be fueled by a 4,000mAh battery and it will feature a single camera on the rear panel. The phone will measure 154.4 x 77.4 x 8.4mm and weigh 165 grams. It is tipped to feature a 6-inch waterdrop notch display on the front.

Apart from the A1K, Oppo is working on A5s which is also expected to launch very soon. As per leaks, Oppo A5s will feature a 6.2-inch In-cell display with 720 x 1520 resolution, 19:9 aspect ratio, and a waterdrop notch at the top. It will be powered by MediaTek’s 12nm Helio P35 octa-core processor. It will be available in three different variants with 2GB/3GB/4GB RAM and 32GB or 64GB of internal storage which can be expanded upto 256GB via micro card.

For the imaging department, the phone will have a dual rear camera setup of 13-megapixel + 2-megapixel sensors. It will have an 8-megapixel front camera for selfies. The primary 13MP sensor will be paired with an f/2.2 aperture, while the front-facing 8MP sensor will have f/2.0 aperture. Oppo A5s will run on an older Android 8.1 Oreo-based ColorOS 5.2 and it will be backed up by 4230mAh battery.
