A new smartphone from Lenovo and ZUK co-branded has been spotted on GFXbench website, which is dubbed as ZUK R1.
As per listing, the Lenovo ZUK R1 features a 4.7-inch HD (1280 x 720p) display. It is fueled by a 1.8GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio P10 (MT6755) 64-bit processor, which is clubbed with ARM Mali-T860 GPU, 3GB of RAM, and, 32GB of internal storage. The smartphone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system ZUK’s ZUI on to of it.
The ZUK R1 flaunts a 13-megapixel auto-focus snapper with LED flash on the back panel and an 8-megapixel fixed focus selfie shooter on the front. Further, the smartphone offers 4G LTE, Accelerometer, Digital compass, Light sensor, Proximity, WiFi, Bluetooth, and GPS.
Yesterday, Lenovo launched Cyanogen OS 12.1 based Lenovo ZUK Z1 in India for Rs 13,499. The smartphone will be available via flash sales on Amazon.in. Registrations for the first sale already started. The first sale is scheduled for 19th May at 2PM.
The Lenovo ZUK Z1 has 64GB of inbuilt storage and is backed by a 2.5 GHz Snapdragon 801 processor along with 3 GB RAM. The ZUK Z1 comes equipped with USB 3.0 Type C port with reversible plugin design which claims to support transfer speed of up to 5 Gbit/s.
The phone has a 5.5 inch display that has full HD resolution, 1500:1 contrast ratio and 450 Nits brightness. On the rear panel, the phone comes with a 13 megapixel camera with optical image stabilization, and dual LED flash and the selfie camera is an 8 megapixel. The smartphone is backed up by a 4100 mAh battery.
The ZUK Z1 also comes with an inbuilt 360Â° fingerprint reader button that has a 508 DPI high capacitive sensor. This fingerprint scanner can be used to lock the phone and for multitasks too. Besides, this dual SIM smartphone has connectivity options like 4G, GPS, Bluetooth, fingerprint scanner, and WiFi. The Zuk Z1 smartphone measures 155.7 x 77.3 x 8.9mm and weighs 175 grams. Its body is said to be made in aircraft-grade aluminum metal frame.
