HMD Global is expected to announce Nokia 2, 7 and 9 smartphones early next year. While press renders of Nokia 2 were leaked last month, but there weren’t any credible Nokia 9 images leaked till now. Now a number of new renders, as well as a new 3D render video, have surfaced online, thanks to OnLeaks’ latest collaboration with Compareraja.
The renders are based on CAD files of the Nokia phone which means that the design can change. One notable thing from these renders is the lack of Headphone jack. The Nokia 9 will feature USB Type-C instead of 3.5mm Audio Jack port. The Nokia 9 will apparently sport a 5.5-inch display with very slim bezels and a curved glass panel on the front, however, it’s still unclear whether the panel will be curved or not. The Nokia 9 will boast dual cameras on the back. As for the dimensions, the Nokia 9 is said to measure 140.9 mm in length, 72.9 mm in width and 7.5 mm in depth, while the camera bump will increase the thickness to exactly 8.9mm. It is expected to come preinstalled with Android 8.0 Oreo.
The Nokia 9 will feature a 5.5-inch QHD OLED display. It said to be powered by a Snapdragon 835, along with Adreno 540 GPU. It will come with 6GB/8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The smartphone will be backed up by a 3800mAH battery with Qualcomm Quick-Charge 4 support.
On the camera front, the smartphone will sport a 12-megapixel dual Carl-Zeiss rear camera and a 12-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies. The smartphone is also said to house a fingerprint scanner and will also feature an Iris Scanner as well. Further, the Nokia 9 will have IP68 certification for water and dust resistance.
