Microsoft today launched the Nokia 215, which it unveiled earlier in January this year, in India for Rs 2,149. Touted as the Microsoft’s cheapest internet-ready phone, the Nokia 215 has support for nine Indian languages. The device also comes pre-loaded with Facebook and Messenger.
The dual SIM Nokia 215 will be available in a range of colors including bright green, black and white. It has the Nokia Series 30+ operating system and a 2.4 inch display with QVGA resolution. The Nokia 215 has a 1100 mAh battery which claims to offer up to 21 hours of talktime.
The phone has a VGA camera as well. Besides, it has Bluetooth and a micro USB port for connectivity. The 12.9 mm thick Nokia 215 weighs just 78.7 grams has a a 32 GB micro SD card too.
Speaking at the launch, Raghuvesh Sarup, director-marketing, Nokia India Sales, a subsidiary of Microsoft Mobiles, said, “India is a ‘mobile-first’ market, and feature phones are the first port of access to internet for a large number of mobile users.
