Motorola expands its retail presence in Punjab, announces 51 Moto Hubs

The Moto Hub store will house the entire portfolio of Motorola devices including all the online exclusives models like the Moto X4, Moto Z-series and more. Customers will be able to experience all the products, accessories and they can also purchase the products from these stores.

Motorola has today announced its retail expansion in Punjab with the opening of 51 new Moto Hubs retail stores in the state. The company has announced that the retail stores will open across top 5 cities including Chandigarh, Jalandhar, Amritsar, Patiala and Ludhiana.

 

The Moto Hub store will house the entire portfolio of Motorola devices including all the online exclusives models like the Moto X4, Moto Z-series and more. Customers will be able to experience all the products and they can also purchase the products from these stores.

 

The store will also feature a range of Motorola accessories like on-ear and in-ear headphones and covers. Apart from this, the Moto Mods including JBL Sound Boost 2 speaker Mod, Moto TurboPower Pack battery Mod and Moto GamePad mod, will be available for purchase from Moto Hubs as well.

 

According to GFK, Punjab contributes 14% of the smartphone market in North India and is the second biggest state in North by smartphone market size; selling approximately 320K smartphones per month. Furthermore, Ludhiana is the biggest market in the state selling 60K smartphones every month followed by Chandigarh with 48K smartphones; thus, making Punjab a significant market for Motorola in the North.

 

Commenting on the launch, Rohit Khatter, Regional General Manager, Motorola Mobility India said, “We have accelerated our retail expansion significantly since the beginning of 2018 and now entering Punjab with our first ever Moto Hub stores. Customers in Punjab have always valued the differentiated and premium experience offered by Motorola smartphones and Moto Hubs is a way to address their needs by giving them a platform to interact with both the brand and product.”
