The much speculated Motorola Droid Razr HD smartphone may come with a 4.3 inch display with Android 4.0 operating system, images published on a Chinese website suggests.
The Chinese website showed a handset named Droid Razr HD carrying model number MT887, with Android 4.0.3 Ice Cream Sandwich running on it. The handset was branded for the China region.
This further to some extent confirms the earlier speculations, as was reported by The Mobile Indian as well, that Motorola is working on Droid Razr successor smartphone.
The Droid Razr HD is expected to come with a display supporting 720p HD resolution with the same Droid Razr styling. The handset in the images features a 4.3-inch touchscreen display and was shown supporting 1280×720 Pixel resolution natively.
Meanwhile GLBenchmark listing spotted a Motorola MB886 handset codenamed Qinara which it confirmed as the Droid Razr HD that is being tested for the AT&T and Verizon Wireless networks.
From the listing, we can collect that the Motorola Droid Razr HD will come with 1280×720 pixel resolution bearing display. Under the Droid Razr styling based chasis, this smartphone will house a dual-core 1.5 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 MSM8960 mobile processor.
By default this smartphone will come loaded with the Android 4.0.3 Ice Cream Sandwich and will run a toned down version of the BLUR user interface.
So basically there are two different model versions of Droid Razr HD – MT887 for China and MB886 for the USA region. We can expect to see this smartphone hitting US markets by end of second quarter or early third quarter.
