Moto G5S gets a permanent price cut, now available for Rs 9,999

The smartphone is now available at a price tag of Rs 9,999 against its original price of Rs 13,999.

Motorola has today announced a permanent price cut on its mid-range smartphone, the Moto G5S. The smartphone is now available at a price tag of Rs 9,999 against its original price of Rs 13,999.

The smartphone is now available at the above-mentioned price on Amazon, Moto Hubs and offline retail stores in Fine Gold, Lunar Gray and Oxford Blue colour options. To recall, the Motorola launched Moto G5S and G5S Plus in India in August last year for Rs 13,999 and 15,999 respectively.

The Moto G5S comes with a metal unibody made of high-grade aluminium and a 5.2-inch Full display with a screen resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels with 3 protection. The Moto G5S packs a 3000mAh battery, which is higher when compared to Moto G5’s 2800mAh battery. Further, the device comes loaded with a fingerprint sensor, which is placed at the bottom of the display.



On the hardware front, the device is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 along with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, however, the company has included a hybrid card slot for up to 128GB expandable storage. The device features a 16-megapixel rear camera along with f/2.0 and single LED flash, while on the front, there is a 5-megapixel wide-angle selfie shooter along with an LED flash. The phone runs on 7.1 Nougat.
