Micromax has listed a new smartphone on its website, called Bolt A40.Though price has not been mentioned but the listing itself suggests that the phone is soon to be launched.
As per the listing, the Micromax Bolt A40 comes with 4.5 inch touchscreen with 480×854 pixels resolution, 2 Megapixel rear camera, 1500 mAh battery, Bluetooth, WiFi, USB 2.0, and a 1 GHz processor. Surprisingly, it comes with the older Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread operating system at a time when even Rs 4,000 handsets come with Android 4.2 version.
Besides, the Micromax Bolt A40 has 512 MB RAM, 512 MB ROM, 32 GB expandable storage slot, and VGA front camera.
Looking at the specifications, the Micromax Bolt A40 seems to be a low-cost Android smartphone and thus would be priced around Rs 4,000. Under Bolt series, Micromax offers several low cost handsets as well that includes Bolt A26, Bolt A27, Bolt A35, Bolt A62, and Bolt A67.
