Meizu M6 unveiled with 5.2-inch HD display and octa core CPU

The smartphone runs on Android Android 7.0 (Nougat) operating system with Flyme 6.0 UI on top.

Meizu has today announced its new smartphone in China today, named as Meizu M6. The Meizu M6 has been launched in two variants- 2GB RAM with 32GB internal storage priced at 699 Yuan which is approximately Rs 6,835 and 3GB RAM with 32GB storage which is priced at 899 Yuan which is approximately Rs 8,795. It will go on sale September 25 in China for which the pre-bookings have already started.The smartphone comes in Moonlight Silver, Champagne Gold, Matte Black and Electric Blue colour options.

Meizu M6 boasts a polycarbonate unibody and a 5.2-inch display with the resolution of 1,280 x 720 pixels and is powered by an Octa-Core MediaTek MT6750 (4 x 1.5GHz A53 + 4 x 1.0GHz A53) processor, along with Mali T860 GPU. It comes with 2GB/3GB of RAM and 16GB/32GB of internal storage, which can be further expandable up to 128GB via microSD card. The smartphone runs on Android 7.0 (Nougat) operating system with Flyme 6.0 on top and is backed up by a 3,070mAh non-removable battery. It also features a mTouch fingerprint sensor embedded into the home button which the company claims to unlock the phone in 0.2 seconds.

On the camera front, the alleged Meizu M6 sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with 4-color RGBW flash, PDAF, f/2.2 aperture, flash and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.0 for selfies and video chats. Besides, the smartphone offers hybrid dual-SIM, VoLTE, Bluetooth, WiFi, GPS/AGPS and a port. The device measures 148.2 x 72.8 x 8.3mm and it weighs 143grams.
