The Chinese handset manufacturer, Meizu has launched a new smartphone under a new A series which is named as Meizu A5. The smartphone is listed on the company’s official website with a price tag of Yuan 699 which is approximately Rs 6,665. The Meizu A5 is now available for purchase in China and it comes in black, gold, and silver colour options.
Meizu A5 has a metal unibody build and features a 5 inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) IPS display with pixel density of 294 ppi. It is powered by the MediaTek (MT6737) quad-core processor, which is paired with Mali T720 GPU, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, and option to expand via microSD.
The dual SIM Meizu A5 has an unspecified Android operating system and has Flyme OS 5.1 custom user interface on top. The smartphone flaunts an 8-megapixel camera in the rear with LED flash light, f/2.0 aperture and a 5-megapixel snapper on the front panel with f/2.2 aperture. The device is backed up by 3060mAh battery. On the connectivity front, the smartphone offers 4G/LTE along with VoLTE, WiFi (802.11 a/b/g/n/ac), micro-USB port, Bluetooth 4.1, and GPS/A-GPS. The handset measures 144 x 70.5 x 8.3 mm and weighs 140 grams.
