LG announced to launch the G Pro 2 smartphone next month. No details about the LG G Pro 2 smartphone were shared by LG. But now a Korean forum, DCInside, has posted few images that is claims is that of G Pro 2. If the images are to belived, then the physical design of the G Pro 2 seems directly inspired from the current LG success – G2.
LG G Pro 2 is the direct successor of the G Pro but will come with obvious improvements. One of the improvements include the LG G2 smartphone inspired design. For instance, the power button is placed behind, just below the camera between the volume keys. Though several people initially complained about the relocation of the power key, many actually found it very comfortable. Only pitfall is that one would accidentally end up smudging the camera lens.
Though the specifications of the G Pro 2 are not confirmed, the speculations rife to point that LG will pack a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 mobile chipset in the phone. The display will be bumped from 5.5-inch to 5.9-inch True Full HD Plus IPS LCD quality panel where in True Full HD Plus is the LG’s display technology married with the IPS LCD panel.
On the software front, LG will integrate all the modern features also available for the LG G2 including the QSlide Multitasking. There is no fixed date for the launch of the G Pro 2 launch but we expect the announcement to happen around the Mobile World Congress 2014 starting 24 February.
