LG Fireweb Firefox smartphone launched

It has a 1 GHz processor, 5 megapixel rear camera, and a 1540 mAh battery.

South Korean handset manufacturer, LG has unveiled its first smartphone with Firefox operating system which is named as LG Fireweb. The Firefox OS 1.1 operating system based LG Fireweb has been launched in Brazil for $207 or Rs 12,755 approximately (without contract).

The LG Fireweb comes with a 4 inch display with 480×320 pixel resolution. The smartphone has a 1 GHz Qualcomm processor, 2 internal storage, and 32 GB micro SD card slot. Besides, it has a 5 megapixel rear camera with an flash but has no front camera. The LG Fireweb has a decent 1540 battery.

As per reports, the phone has Facebook and Twitter integration, Nokia’s Here maps and Firefox mobile web browser. Buyers can download apps from the Firefox Marketplace for the platform as well.
