Intex Aqua Power HD with 4000 mAh battery, 2 GB RAM launched at Rs 9,499

Intex, which just launched its Aqua Desire for Rs 5,560, has announced the launch of another budget smartphone, the Aqua Power HD, for Rs 9,444. This dual SIM smartphone is available in four colours – White, Black, Blue and Grey.

The Intex Aqua Power HD features a 5-inch HD display and runs on Android 4.4.2 Kitkat operating system. The handset is loaded with a 1.4 GHz octa-core processor and 2 GB RAM. The highlight of Intex Aqua Power is its 4000 mAh battery that claims to offer talk time of up to 20 hours along with a standby time of 500 hours. The Aqua Power HD also acts as a powerbank and thus can also be used for charging other devices by an OTG cable. For the picture conscious, the device comes with a 13 megapixel rear camera and a 5 megapixel front camera that supports clicking selfies by using volume button/ headset button and Bluetooth.

Commenting on the launch, Sanjay Kumar Kalirona, mobile business head, Intex said, “An upgrade in the Aqua Power Range, the HD version comes with an enhanced screen, memory and camera to name a few features. The smartphone comes with an inbuilt memory of 16 GB, expandable up to 32GB. It entails some interesting features like the Auto Call Record, FM recording, LED flash, FM Radio and music, OTG Support, Clear motion, smart gesture, Voice Capture, Gyro Sensor, E compass, and K class amplifier for the music lovers.
