Huawei has scheduled a launch event on April 24 in India wherein it will announce the launch of P20 Lite and P20 Pro smartphones for the Indian market. The company has already sent media invites for a curtain-raiser event scheduled to take place on the said date. Now it has been confirmed that the new smartphones will be launched exclusively on Amazon. The famous e-commerce website is running a teaser hinting the availability of the device on the platform. Both the phones have already been launch for several global markets so we know all about their specifications.
Huawei P20 Lite
The Huawei P20 Lite features a 5.84-inch full HD+ display with a screen Resolution of 1080 x 2280 pixels. The display has a notch place on the top side just like what you see in the iPhone X. The phone is backed by octa-Core Kirin 659 processor, which is clocked at 2.36GHz with MaliT830-MP2 GPU.
The phone features a 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 256GB via microSD card slot. It features a dual camera setup at the back with a combination of 16-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor for bokeh effect. For the front, there is a 16-megapixel shooter. The phone runs on Android 8.0 Oreo with company’s EMUI 8.0 running on top of it.
The phone comes with face unlock feature as well as afingerprint sensor at the back and it also features a 3000mAh battery with fast charging. On the connectivity front, it supports 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS / Glonass, NFC and Micro USB port. The phone measures 148 x 71.2 x 7.4mm and weighs 145 grams.
Huawei P20 Pro
The P20 Pro has a slightly bigger 6.1-inch display but has the same full HD resolution as the P20. Also, it has much better 6 GB RAM and a bigger 4000 mAh battery. A highlight of its design is obviously the iPhone X like notch and it has borrowed the rectangular home button design from Samsung too. Besides, the Huawei P20 Pro offers a superb camera module of 40 megapixel+20 Megapixel + 8-megapixel camera-combine in the rear panel.
According to Huawei, this is world’s first Leica triple camera. “40 MP RGB camera that delivers unparalleled sharpness, colour accuracy, focus and contrast for every single shot you take”. It includes a 24-megapixel front camera, Kirin 970 processor, fingerprint sensor, 128 GB Internal Memory etc.
