Huawei Nova 2 Plus Silver edition teased in a new video, to be availble for pre-order tomorrow

The new version will arrive with a mirror finish that will be highly reflective.

Huawei had launched Huawei Nova 2 and Nova 2 Plus in May this year in China in Aurora Blue, Grass Green, Gold, Obsidian Black and Rose Gold colour options. Now Huawei has recently released a video teaser which reveals that Huawei will be launching a Silver version of the Nova 2 Plus smartphone on August 3. The Silver Edition will be up for pre-orders starting tomorrow in China. The new colour option will be available for pre-order on Chinese online retailer Vmall from tomorrow. Huawei Nova 2 Plus is priced at 2,899 Yuan (approximately Rs 27,275).

The new version will arrive with a mirror finish that will be highly reflective. The video shows a lady holding the upcoming Silver phone in her hand, and her reflection can be seen on the back of the handset with a highly reflective finish.

Huawei Nova 2 Plus comes with a 5.5-inch Full HD 2.5D glass display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. It is powered by a 2.35GHz octa-core Snapdragon 625 processor (4 xA53 at 2.36GHz + 4 x A53 at 1.7GHz) with MaliT830-MP2 GPU. The smartphone has 4GB of RAM, 128GB of internal storage, with an option to expand 128GB further via microSD card. It runs on Android 7.0 Nougat operating system with EMUI 5.1 and is backed up by a 3,340mAh battery.

The Huawei Nova 2 Plus also has a dual rear camera setup of 12-megapixel and 8-megapixel with LED flash, PFAF, 1.25-micron pixel size, f/1.9 aperture. Like Nova 2, this also has a 20-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling. This 4G smartphone also houses a fingerprint scanner and comes will connectivity functions like 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS/GLONASS, a USB Type C and Bluetooth 4.2. The Huawei Nova Plus measures 153.9 x 74.9 x 6.9mm and weighs 169 grams.
