Huawei Maimang 8 will be launched in China on 5 June. Now ahead of the launch, the entire specifications of the phone have surfaced online.
As per a report of MySmartPrice, the smartphone is rebranded version of the P Smart+ 2019 smartphone that was launched in March this year. Huawei Maimang 8 will be the successor of Huawei Maimang 7. The smartphone is expected to be available in Green and Black color options at launch.
The report reveals that the Huawei Maimang 8 will feature a 6.21-inch IPS LCD display with a waterdrop notch, featuring 1080 x 2340 pixels Full HD+ Resolution and a tall 19.5:9 aspect ratio. It will be powered by 2.2GHz octa-core Kirin 710 processor.
The phone will feature 6GB of RAM and 128GB internal storage with a microSD card slot for expandable memory by up to 512GB. It will have the company’s latest EMUI 9 running on top of Android Pie
For the camera, the phone will be equipped with AI powered triple rear camera setup with a combination of a 24-megapixel primary sensor, 16-megapixel ultrawide lens and 2-megapixel a depth sensor. For the front, the phone comes with an 8-megapixel selfie camera. It will be backed up by a 3,400mAh battery with support for 10W charging.
Just yesterday, an event poster of Huawei Maimang 8 was posted on Weibo which revealed that the phone will feature a 6.21-inch display with a waterdrop notch. The phone will have a triple camera setup and a fingerprint scanner on the back. The phone will sport a 3.5 mm Headphone jack and a Micro USB port for charging. It could be launched as the Huawei Mate 30 Lite in global markets.
