Huawei launches Nova Lite+ and Nova Young smartphones

The Huawei Nova Lite+ comes with Frost, Argento and Prestige Gold color options while the Huawei Nova Young comes in Gold and White colour options.

Chinese smartphone manufacturer Huawei has launched its two smartphones namely Huawei Nova Lite+ and Huawei Nova Young in Italy. The Huawei Nova Lite+ and Nova Young are priced at 155.99 Euros and 159.99 Euros respectively. Both the smartphones are currently available in Italy from Amazon Italy and ePrice e-retailers. The Huawei Nova Lite+ comes with Frost, Argento and Prestige Gold color options while the Huawei Nova Young comes in Gold and White colour options.

The Huawei Nova Lite+ is listed on Huawei’s official Italian website and Huawei Nova Young is listed on ePrice and €146 on Amazon Italy. Currently, it is not known whether if both the smartphones would be available in countries outside of Italy.

Huawei Nova Lite+ features a 5.5-inch IPS display with a resolution of 720×1280 pixel. It is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 processor clocked at 1.4 GHz along with Adreno 505 GPU. The device has 2GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 128GB via microSD card. The smartphone runs on 7.0 Nougat with EMUI 5.1 on top of it. There is also a fingerprint sensor sits just beneath the primary camera found on the rear panel.

Huawei Nova Lite+ and Nova Young

On the camera front, the Huawei Nova Lite+ sports a 12-megapixel rear camera with flash, with 1.25 μm pixel sensor and Phase Detection Auto Focus (PDAF) and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video chats. The smartphone gets it strength from a massive 4000mAh battery which claims to offer 20 hours of video playback or up to 15 hours of internet browsing. Besides, the smartphone offers LTE, Wi-Fi (802.11b/g/n), 4.1, GPS/AGPS/Glonass, a microUSB port, Proximity sensor, Digital Compass, Gravity and Ambient light sensor. The handset measures 153.6 x 76.4 x 8.35mm and weighs 165 grammes.

On the other hand, the Huawei Nova Young features a 5-inch HD IPS display with a resolution of 720×1280 pixel. It is powered by an octa-core MediaTek MT6737T processor clocked at 1.4 GHz. The device has 2GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded via microSD card. The smartphone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with EMUI 4.1 on top of it.

On the camera front, the Huawei Nova Young sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with dual LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video chats. The smartphone gets it strength from a massive 3000mAh battery. Besides, the smartphone offers 4G LTE, Wi-Fi (802.11b/g/n), Bluetooth 4.0, GPS/AGPS/Glonass, a microUSB port, Proximity sensor, Digital Compass, and Ambient light sensor. The handset measures 143.8 x 72 x 8.45mm and weighs 150 grammes.
