Gionee has tried to smash the market with two extremely competitive products – Elife E7 and Elife E7 Mini smartphones. The new Gionee Elife E7 joins the large display handset club while the Elife E7 Mini will compete with HTC One Mini and Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini. The Elife E7 is said to be the best Android camera smartphone while Elife E7 Mini has a very interesting design – a rotating camera module.
Gionee Elife E7 smartphone makes a debut with a 16 megapixel camera with 1/2.3-inch Largan M8 sensor and a five element Sapphire lens in. In a way, Gionee has tried to replicate what Apple had tried with the iPhone 5 with Sapphire Crystal in the camera. The Elife E7 features 5.5-inch IPS display with full HD resolution. The display is made using the Corning Gorilla Glass 3 technology that ofcourse protect it from scratches. Gionee has powered this smartphone with quad-core 2.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 MSM8974 Processor with Adreno 330 GPU.
The E7 comes in two variants – one with 16 GB internal storage and 2 GB RAM. Other packs 32 GB internal storage and 3 GB RAM. At the rear, it has a 16 megapixel camera with 1/2.3- inch image sensor and optics carrying Sapphire lens. The camera has auto focus, LED flash and is capable easily recording 1080p HD video recording. In the front, it has an 8 megapixel camera with auto-focus. Basically, this smartphone is focused towards the imaging enthusiasts in India. Other features of Elife E7 include Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi, USB On the Go, 3G network support and Near Field Communication support.
To make the Elife E7 compete with other flagship smartphones and run for long time, Gionee has added a 2500 mAh battery.
The Elife E7 mini features the 4.7-inch IPS IGZO display with 720p HD resolution. This smartphone is powered by octa-core 1.7 GHz MediaTek MT6592 processor with Mali 450-MP4 GPU. The Elife E7 mini packs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean update with Amigo UI 2.0 to run smoothly with 1 GB RAM and 16 GB internal storage. Gionee has added 3G network, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and single SIM configuration. The Elife E7 Mini has a 2100 mAh built-in battery. This smartphone is offered in Blue and Pink colours.
