World’s first dual screen bearing smartphone, known as YotaPhone, is all set to hit the Indian shores. Flipkart has tweeted a picture of the same, confirming the same.
“A phone with two screens. It’s the first of its kind. Coming soon only on Flipkart,” the e-retailer said on its Twitter account. However, it has not revealed the price or exact date of launch.
As per Yota Devices’ website, the maker of the phone, the YotaPhone comes with two 4.3 inch displays. One of the display remains turned on always, even if the phone is drained out of power which has been made possible with electronic paper technology. This screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass and has 640×300 pixels resolution and to control it there is a touch zone under the display. The main screen, which too is of 4.3 inch size, comes with high definition resolution and capacitive touch input.
Besides, the YotaPhone has 1.7 GHz Snapdragon 400 dual core processor, 2 GB RAM, 32 GB internal storage, Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean operating system, 1800 mAh battery, 13 megapixel rear auto focus camera which is assisted by an LED flash, and a 1 megapixel front camera. The smartphone has A-GPS with GLONASS for navigation. It has a micro SIM card slot, 3.5 mm connector, Bluetooth 4.0 LE, and WiFi (a/b/g/n).
