Flipkart, Snapdeal, Amazon not authorised sellers: Lenovo

E-retailers are allegedly offering products below their market price which said to be hurting the margins of companies.

PC and smartphone maker, Lenovo has started an online campaign asking its customers not to buy products from Flipkart, Snapdeal, and Amazon India – the three noted online giants of the country.

“E-commerce websites like Snapdeal, Flipkart, and Amazon.In are not authorised Lenovo resellers,” A banner advertisement on its India webpage read.

“We encourage you to check your warranty entitlements when you buy from these websites,” Lenovo further added.

Off-late, there has been a fierce competition among e-retailers who are allegedly offering products below their market price which said to be hurting the margins of companies. Such practices are cited as chief reason for companies building their own e-stores.
