It looks like that Asus is getting ready to launch a new Zenfone and a smartwatch next month at IFA (consumer and technology) which is going to held in Berlin From 4th – 9th September.
Samsung, Huawei, and Sony have already announced their plans and participation, and now Asus too has joined the fray with a teaser video.The teaser leads us to believe that Asus will be launching a new Zenfone and a smartwatch too, which might just be the Asus ZenWatch 2, unveiled in June.
The smartphone purported to be a new addition to the Zenfone line-up is codenamed Z00TDA. The leaked specifications state that the 4G phone will have a full HD 5.5 inch display, and run on Android Lollipop. The Z00TDA is rumoured to run a 1.5 GHz octa-core processor (maybe the Snapdragon 615?), 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage. It is likely to have a 13 Megapixel primary camera with a 5 megapixel selfie shooter too. Leaked images show that it will be available in at least gold and silver.
