Apple iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus pre-orders begin from September 22 in India

Brightstar Telecommunication India and Redington India has announced that they will be taking pre-orders of both the iPhones in the country.

Apple has finally launched the latest iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus a few hours ago and the company has already announced that the smartphones will be available in India from September 29. Now, Brightstar Telecommunication India and Redington India has announced that they will be taking pre-orders of both the iPhones in the country.

Staring with Brightstar, the company says that the iPhones will be available for pre-order at various authorized stores in North and East India. The new iPhones will be available in stores starting from September 29. Similarly, Redington has announced that users can pre-order the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus at 3000 stores across the country.

Coming to the price, the iPhone 8 with 64GB of storage will be available at a price tag of Rs 64,000, while the 256GB variant is priced at Rs 77,000. The iPhone 8 Plus comes is priced at Rs 73,000 and 86,000 for the 64GB and 256GB variant respectively.

Further, Brightstar will also start taking pre-orders for the iPhone X starting October 27. The super expensive iPhone will available at authorized stores starting from November 3, 2017. The iPhone X is priced at Rs 89,000 for the 64GB variant and a whopping Rs 1,02,000 for the 256GB variant.

Recollecting some key specs, both the iPhones sports Retina displays with True Tone feature that adjust the white balance of the display to match the surrounding light for a more natural, paper-like viewing experience. The iPhone 8 features a 4.7-inch screen, while the iPhone 8 Plus features a 5.5-inch display.

On the camera front, the iPhone 8 Plus features dual-camera setup at the rear panel. The cameras come with a combination of 12-megapixel wide angle lens with f/1.8 and 12-megapixel telephoto lens with aperture f/2.8 with OIS, quad-LED True Tone flash. The iPhone 8 sports a single 12-megapixel sensor at the rear panel.

The new camera also delivers the highest quality video capture ever in a smartphone with better video stabilization, video up to 60fps and 1080p slo-mo up to 240fps. The Apple-designed video encoder provides real-time image and motion analysis for optimal quality video.
