70,000 Le 1s sold in 2 seconds: LeEco

Such huge response was expected as the phone offers superb specs at just Rs 10,999.

LeEco today claimed that 70,000 handsets of Le 1s were sold out in the flash sale which was held today at 12 noon on Flipkart. It was the first ever flash sale of Le 1s in India.

“Incredible India! 70,000 Le 1s sold out in 2 secs today!! New industry record,” the company tweeted after the flash sale.

Such huge response was expected as the phone offers superb specs at just Rs 10,999 and the company has also not left any stone unturned in promotion of the phone. To raise awareness, the company has been issuing full page advertisements about its smartphones.

The second flash sale will be held on February 9. Note that it is available exclusively on Flipkart.

Specs

The Le 1s comes with an all-metal unibody, along with mirror fingerprint sensor “Le Touch” and fast-charging technology. Le 1s features a 5.5-inch full-HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) IPS display. The smartphone is powered by Mediatek flagship Helio X10 Turbo 2.2GHz octa-core processor which is paired with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage.

The Le 1s runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop operating system with the EUI 5.5 custom user interface on top of it. The smartphone comes with a reversible USB Type-C with fast-charging SpeedVolt technology and gets the power from 3000 mAh battery. On the camera from, the smartphone offers 13-megapixel rear auto-focus camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front camera for selfies and video calling.

The dual-SIM handset measures 151.1 x 74.2 x 7.5 mm and weighs 169 grams. The Le 1s has a mirror fingerprint sensor “Le Touch” that can double as a camera shutter button.
