At Rs 49,900, this is the costliest handset to be announced this month and has already been pitted as the biggest rival of Samsung Galaxy S5. The HTC One M8 comes with a 5 inch display with full HD resolution. It is powered by the powerful Snapdragon 801 quad core processor, 2 GB RAM, and the Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system. The most notable factor of this handset is its dual rear cameras of 4 megapixel resolution each. There is a 5 megapixel camera in its front panel as well.
Samsung silently launched this handset in India without much fanfare. Available for about Rs 18,000, the Samsung Galaxy Grand Z offers 5 inch display, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system, a 1.2 GHz dual core processor, 8 GB internal storage, 64 GB micro SD card slot, and 1 GB RAM. This 9.6 mm thick smartphone offers an 8 megapixel rear camera which is capable of recording full HD videos. There is an LED flash in the back panel as well while a 2 megapixel camera is in its front. The 161 gram heavy Samsung Galaxy Grand Z has a 2100 mAh battery that promises 10 hours of talktime and 440 hours of standby over 3G networks. Besides, this dual SIM phone has WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, micro USB 2.0.
The Samsung Galaxy S3 Neo comes with a 4.8 inch Super AMOLED display with high definition resolution. It has a 1.2 GHz quad core processor which runs on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean operating system and 1.5 GB RAM. The S3 Neo has a 64 GB micro SD card slot but there is no information as of now about its internal storage. The 8.6 mm thick Galaxy S3 Neo weighs 132 grams despite having a fairly large 2100 mAh battery. For connectivity, this dual SIM handset has Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi (a/b/g/n), and USB 2.0. It has A-GPS and GLONASS for navigation as well. The Samsung Galaxy S3 Neo looks good with an 8 megapixel rear camera and a 1.9 megapixel front camera.
Sony Xperia M2 features a 4.8-inch LCD display with 960x540 pixel resolution. It is offered in India for Rs 21,990 and will be available from April 25 onwards. It comes with Snapdragon 400 quad core processor, 1 GB RAM, and Android 4.3 Jelly Bean operating system. It the Sony Xperia M2 has an 8 megapixel camera, a VGA front camera and 2300 mAh battery.
It offers a 6-inch IPS LCD display with 1280x720 pixel resolution, a quad-core 1.3 Ghz MediaTek MT6582 mobile chipset integrated with Mali-400MP2 GPU graphics, 1 GB RAM and 4 GB internal storage on this large screen device. Besides, it has an 8 megapixel rear camera, a 2 megapixel front camera, Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi, a micro USB 2.0 port, and USB On-The-Go feature. Its 3000 mAh battery promises about 15 hours of talk time.
It has a 4.7 inch display with qHD resolution, Android Jelly Bean operating system, 1.3 GHz Mediatek quad core processor, 1 GB RAM, 8 GB internal storage, 32 GB expandable storage slot, and a 3000 mAh battery that promises 7-10 hours of battery back up. Besides, the S660 has Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi, FM, GPS, 8 megapixel rear camera, and a 0.3 megapixel front camera.
This affordable handset comes with dual SIM slot. Besides, it has a 1 GHz dual core Mediatek processor, Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system, 5 megapixel rear camera, a 0.3 megapixel front camera, 1300 mAh battery, and a 4 inch display. The HTC Desire 210 has 4 GB internal storage, 512 MB RAM, and 32 GB expandable storage slot. This dual SIM smartphone has one regular and one micro SIM card slot. After Xolo launched its Q1010i with Exmor R camera sensor, Lava too had announced a handset called Iris 504Q+ with a 10 megapixel camera unit with the same camera sensor. It has a 5 inch IPS display with high definition resolution. It is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad core processor, Mali 400 GPU, and 1 GB RAM. It has got decent 8 GB internal storage of which 5.33 GB is available for users. There is a memory card slot in the Iris 504Q+ which can accommodate up to a 32 GB micro SD card. The Lava Iris 504Q+ has a 2000 mAh Li-Po battery which said to provide 200 hours of standby with single SIM. The phone is quite slim in itself with a thickness of 7.9 mm but it is a bit heavier (149 grams).

The Q1010i is powered by a quad-core 1.3 GHz MediaTek MTK6582 mobile processor and Mali-400MP graphics processing unit. This hardware is backed with a 1 GB RAM and 8 GB on-board storage with a memory card slot. Besides, the Q1010i has Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi, standard audio port and micro USB 2.0 port. Xolo Q1010i runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and is upgradable to Android 4.4 KitKat update. Xolo has packed a fairly big 2250 mAh battery in the phone.
