Lava has silently made avaialble a 3G Android smartphone in budget segment. The phone, named as Lava 3G 402+, is an upgraded version of its older 3G 402 handset and is priced at Rs 6,499.
But is it worth the price? Here is a comparision of the Lava 3G 402+ with leading handsets that are avaialble for around the same price but before doing that here is what you should know about the new Lava smartphone.
The Lava 3G 402+ comes with dual SIM, Android 4.2.2 operating system, 4 inch display with 480×800 pixels resolution, 1.2 GHz dual core processor, 512 MB RAM, 3 megapixel rear camera with flash, 1.3 megapixel front camera, 4 GB inbuilt storage, and a 32 GB micro SD card slot. It has a 1500 mAh battery that promises 4 hours of talktime and 400 hours of standby. Besides, it has GPS, 3G connectivity, WiFi, and Bluetooth.
The biggest opponent of Lava 3G 402+ is the Spice Coolpad 2 which comes with dual SIM, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system, 1.2 GHz quad core processor, 4.5 inch display with 540×960 pixels resolution, 5 megapixel auto focus rear camera, 1700 mAh battery, and 1 GB RAM. It is currently avaialble for as low as Rs 5,999.
However, most other opponents of the new Lava handset come with same sort of features such as 4-4.5 inch display with WVGA resolution, dual core Processor etc.
Hopefully, Lava 3G 402+ has much more what meets the eye.
