However, it is interesting to note that the company is launching the latest Galaxy Note 8 on the same date when Apple will launch its next-generation of iPhones and a special anniversary edition known as iPhone X.

For Samsung, the launch of the latest Galaxy Note 8 holds great importance, as the ill-fated Galaxy Note 7 never made to Indian shores and there is a long gap in the Note series. As for the pricing is concerned, the smartphone was launched at $930 in the US, which roughly translates to Rs 59,561 and could expect it to be priced a bit higher in India. Interestingly, the company has slashed the price of its Samsung Galaxy S8+ and it now retails around Rs 65,990 against its original price of Rs 74,990.
