Samsung has slashed the price of its Galaxy A9 and Galaxy A7 smartphones by upto Rs 5,000. Both the smartphones are available at a discounted price on both Amazon India and Flipkart.

The Samsung Galaxy A9 was launched last year in two variants – Rs 36,990 for the 6GB RAM/128GB storage, and Rs 39,990 for the 8GB/128GB configuration. After the price cut of Rs 5,000, the device can now be purchased at Rs 28,990 for 6GB/128GB variant and Rs 31,990 for 8GB/128GB variant.

The Samsung Galaxy A7, on the other hand, was launched at a starting price of Rs 23,990 for the 4GB with 64GB storage variant. After the discount, the Galaxy A7 4GB RAM variant is available for Rs 17,990 and the 6GB RAM variant is available for Rs 21,990.

To recall the specifications, the Galaxy A9 features a 6.3-inch Full Super AMOLED Infinity display with 1080×2220 pixels resolution. It is powered by Octa Core Snapdragon 660 processor with Adreno 512 GPU. The phone has a 24-megapixel primary f/1.7 sensor, with a 10-megapixel telephoto camera that has 2x optical zoom, a 5-megapixel depth sensor, and an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera with f/2.4 aperture. It has a 24-megapixel front camera along with an f/2.0 aperture. It is backed by 3,300mAh battery under its hood.

The Samsung Galaxy A7 features a 6-inch full-HD+ (1080×2220 pixels) Super AMOLED Infinity Display along with an 18.5:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by an Exynos 7885 octa-core processor clocked at 2.2GHz. has a triple rear camera of 24-megapixel with LED flash, f/1.7 aperture, 8-megapixel with ultra-wide f/2.4 lens for photos and 5-megapixel f/2.2 depth sensor. The front facing camera will feature a 24-megapixel selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture and LED flash. The smartphone is fueled by a 3300mAh battery with adaptive fast charging.
