Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi recently launched Redmi K20 and Redmi K20 Pro in China. The K20 Pro was launched with the 6GB and 8GB RAM options. Now seems like the company will also bring a new variant of the Pro model with 12GB RAM.
An official listing of the Redmi K20 Pro with 12GB RAM and model number M1903F11C has surfaced on TENAA. While the 6GB and 8GB RAM variants have already been launched in China, the 12GB RAM variant is yet to be officially announced. Now since the new variant has been listed in China, we can expect its launch shortly.
As per the TENAA listing, the Redmi K20 Pro is paired with 6GB, 8GB, and 12GB of RAM. The listing further suggests that the Redmi K20 Pro will come in Pink, White, Green, Purple, and Grey colour variants. To recall, the phone was launched in Glacier Blue, Flame Red, Carbon Black colours.
Meanwhile, as per recent reports, the Redmi is likely to launch the K20 and K20 Pro smartphones as Poco F2 and Poco F2 Pro in India. A recent report also suggested that the Redmi K20 and Redmi K20 Pro will launch as the Mi 9T and Mi 9T Pro in Russia.
The Redmi K20 Pro is priced at CNY 2,499 (roughly Rs 25,200) for the 6GB + 64GB variant. The 6GB + 128GB, 8GB + 128GB, and 8GB + 256GB variants are priced at CNY 2,599 (roughly Rs 26,200), CNY 2,799 (roughly Rs 28,200), and CNY 2,999 (roughly Rs 30,200) respectively.
To recall the specs, the phone features a 6.39 inches Samsung’s AMOLED Full HD+ display with a resolution of 2280×1080 pixels, 91.9 per cent screen-to-body ratio. It is powered by 2.84GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 7 processor. The phone runs on the Android 9.0 Pie and is backed up by a 4000mAh battery with 27W Fast charging support.
For the optics, the K20 Pro smartphone has a triple rear camera setup with a combination of Sony IMX586 48MP ultra-clear primary sensor with f/1.75, a 13-megapixel secondary super Wide-Angle sensor with f/ 2.4 and an 8-megapixel depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture. On the front, it features a 20-megapixel pop-up selfie camera with a sapphire lens cover that can rise in 0.8 seconds.
