Toshiba reveals the first post 10.1-inch tablet and outfits it with a quad-core Tegra 3 processor. Toshiba introduced the first tablet to break the 10.1-inch barrier. Its new Excite 13 sports a 13.3-inch IPS screen, running at a 1600x900 resolution and comes installed with Android 4.0. At only 0.4-inches thick the Excite 13 isnt much more substantial than most other tablets. The device is only 7.7mm thin, which makes it thinner than the iPad 2. Its got a TI OMAP 4430 Dual Core ARM Cortex-A9 processor running at 1.2 ghz and uses Android 3.2 Honeycomb. The AT200 is supposed to last up to 7 hours, has two cameras with 2 and 5 mp. There is going to be a 3G version out this year, WiFi model comes first, but Tosh wasnt able to tell when.

While you may be thinking, "Oh, its just another Honeycomb tablet," (and it is) but you have to give it some props for its super slim form factor.The new Toshiba Excite X10 will sell for $529 for the 16GB version,"and $599 for 32GB, and the company is still working out the details of when theyll be able to deliver an Ice Cream Sandwich update, or if well be seeing a 3G or 4G version any time soon.
