Starting today, MTNL Broadband users in Mumbai will be able to download double the data that was previously provided through the same plans. The revised FUP limit will be applicable across all MTNL broadband plans ranging from Rs 600 to Rs 7,999 inlcuding six Rs 600 broadband plans, Rs 1,000, Rs 1,200, Rs 1,500, Rs 2,000, Rs 3,999, Rs 4,999 and Rs 7,999 plans.

Dubbed as “Broadband-GSM Companion Scheme”, users will get 5GB of data per month with five years of validity. Users who have a monthly bill between Rs 600 and Rs 799 will get 5GB per month for one year on the SIM. Users with a monthly plan of more than Rs 800 will get 10GB of free data on the SIM for one year.

Dubbed as Prepaid STV 171, the pack comes with a validity of 28 days. However, it is important to note that MTNL has its operations in just two circles, thus the plan is only valid for Mumbai and Delhi users. Further, users can make unlimited calls and send SMSes in Mumbai and Delhi circles.
