The Vive Focus Plus bears quite a resemblance to the Vive Focus and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835. It features a 2880x1600 75Hz AMOLED display and comes with an inside-out 6-DoF “world-scale” track which is possible through a couple of front-facing cameras.

The highlight of the device comes with its blockchain encryption which allows it to be the safest smartphone to store keys that belong to cryptocurrency. HTC is calling it a “Secure Enclave” which is isolated from the Exodus 1 and the Android interface running on the phone.

The U12 Life features a 6-inch FHD+ (2160 x 1080) display with an aspect ratio of 18:9 and 1500:1 contrast ratio. It’s interesting to see HTC isn’t yet willing to embrace a notch on top but the company has worked toward reducing the bottom and top bezels to expand the screen space.

HTC U12 Life will be powered by 1.61GHz Snapdragon 660 octa-core processor backed by 4GB of RAM. The Snapdragon 660 chipset is in contrary to the previous rumours suggesting Snapdragon 636.

HTC through its official Twitter handle revealed that it will soon start seeding the Android Pie update to four of its smartphones - HTC U12+, U11+, U11 and U11 Life, the last of which comes under Google Android One initiative. There's no word on the rollout timeline or whether the update will land on other devices.

Weighing in at a little over 437 MB, the firmware update pushes the build number of the device to 1.21.617.3 and adds a fix for the pressure-sensitive buttons on the U12+. The squeeze functionality will thus be a little more responsive and so will be the Edge Sense gestures that users can customise to their liking.

The Taiwanese giant has really taken smartphone photography to another level as it manages to employ a 12-megapixel 1/2.55? sensor with a pixel size of 1.4µm, optical image stabilization and an aperture of f/1.75. All of this combined with a secondary 16MP telephoto lens that zooms up to 2x.
