Google explains why it’s shifting fully to gesture navigation

Google has explained the benefits of the upcoming navigation gestures on Android Q. These gesture-based controls will be similar to how Chinese OEMs employ navigation on their Android skins, allowing users to swipe up from the bottom to get the home screen and swipe from either side towards the screen to go back.

Several Pixel 3 units are now plagued with a camera issue. Users are reporting that the Pixel 3 camera is now stuttering and the images pictured are shaky. It's believed that the issue is happening because of a bug inside the Pixel 3 camera’s optical image stabilisation (OIS) system which also makes a noise when idle.

Google is now ceasing to listen to voice recordings from Google Assistant, be it from smartphones or Google Home products but the suspension only applies to its users in the European Union. The suspension will be valid for at least three months as Germany’s Data Protection aims to investigate the issue.
