Xiaomi Mi Fan Festival 2019 sale to begin from April 4: Re 1 Flash Sale, top deals on Poco F1, Redmi Note 6 Pro and more
The company is holding some interesting discounts on its range of products along with some interactive games and the popular Re 1 Flash Sale.
The update comes with version number MIUI 10 Global Beta 9.3.25 and it also brings the latest April security patch. After the price cut, Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro 4GB RAM with 64GB storage variant will now retail for Rs 12,999 in India, while the 6GB RAM with 64GB storage variant will be priced at Rs 13,999.
The Redmi Note 5 and Redmi Note 5 Pro on GeekBench, running the latest version of Google’s mobile OS - Android 9 Pie. This means Xiaomi could be working on developing a stable update that brings the latest features from Android Pie to the mid-range smartphone from earlier this year.
The smartphone is the successor of Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro which was launched in India earlier this year.
The phones in question are Xiaomi Redmi Y2, Redmi Note 5 Pro and the Android One Mi A2.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro will be available in four colour variants: Blue, Red, Black and Rose Gold. The phone is speculated to be announced in November at a launch event in India.
After its launch in India, the smartphone will become the first smartphone from the company with new Kirin 710 SoC in India. The Honor 8X will be the successor of Honor 7X which was launched last year for Rs 12,999.
The update is OTA (Over-The-Air) and it brings MIUI 10 versions - V10.0.1.0.OCGMIFH and V10.0.2.0.OCBMIFH for Redmi 6 and Redmi 6A respectively This update also brings September security patch.

Following the latest trend of 18:9 display, the device comes with a price tag of Rs 7,999 for the 2GB RAM, Rs 8,999 for the 3GB RAM variant and Rs 10,999 for the 4GB RAM top variant and 64GB internal storage for Rs 10,999.
The Redmi Note 5 comes with a price tag of Rs 9,999 for the 3GB RAM variant, while the 4GB RAM option comes with a price of Rs 11,999.

Xiaomi has revealed a list of 10 smartphones that will soon get Google’s latest mobile OS - Android 9 Pie. With this development, Xiaomi will have the most number of devices running Android Pie amongst any smartphone manufacturer.
The phone features 12-megapixel primary lens with 1.25-micron pixel and f/2.2 aperture along with a 5-megapixel secondary sensor with 1.12-micron pixel and f/2.0 aperture. For the front, there is a 20-megapixel camera with Sony IMX376 sensor, LED flash and Beautify 4.0.
The smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor along with Adreno 506 GPU.
The major highlight of the smartphone is the new 5.99-inch Full HD+ display with a screen resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels.
