The Galaxy F or Galaxy Foldable smartphone will employ the Infinity Flex Display on the foldable smartphone which is essentially an elastic OLED panel that opens up to a larger 7.3-inch display like a tablet and folds vertically.
The Samsung Galaxy F will equip an outward folding architecture with a cover display on the outside which will open up to a larger tablet-like screen on the inside. The video gives us a sneak peek into the book-like nature of the smartphone whose front-facing outer panel looks close to bezel-less.
The news comes from Samsung’s press release that showcased that the South Korean company had placed two billboards in and around the Place de la Concorde historical centre in Paris. The billboards carry the message “The future unfolds” and “February twentieth” which is translated from Hangeul.
The upcoming foldable smartphone from Samsung will equip a triple camera module at the back. The setup will be similar to the one of the Galaxy S10 Plus which is expected to be announced in March. In contrast to the Galaxy A7, the sensors on the Galaxy S10 and Galaxy F is expected to be of superior quality.
Samsung will be hosting its annual developer conference on Wednesday and with the latest development, it’s highly likely that it might announce one thing or a few about its foldable smartphone. The device is currently being called the Galaxy F with two screens - a 7.3-inch internal display and 4.6-inch external screen.
