Description

HTC U12+ sports a bezel-less 6-inch Quad HD+ Super LCD display with a screen resolution of 2880 x 1440 pixels along with an aspect ratio of 18:9. The display is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 5. The phone also comes with sec generation Edge Sense feature, through which users can squeeze the phone to launch different features. With the Edge Sense 2, you can also Hold for Smart Rotate and Smart Dim or Double tap for a mini screen for easy one-handed use. The phone is powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 2.6GHz octa processor and it comes in two storage variants one with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, while the other sports a 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The memory can be further expanded via micro SD card slot. The phone also includes a Face Unlock which allows users to access the phone simply by staring at the screen.

HTC U12 Plus gets an update , enhances squeeze functionality and camera

Weighing in at a little over 437 MB, the firmware update pushes the build number of the device to 1.21.617.3 and adds a fix for the pressure-sensitive buttons on the U12+. The squeeze functionality will thus be a little more responsive and so will be the Edge Sense gestures that users can customise to their liking.
